It is with great pride that we went public with the soft-launch of Maney.app on 29 November 2023 at Common Ground, Bukit Bintang. Guests from Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), the media and representatives from SMEs in the service industry were present to witness the event.
The afternoon’s proceedings was kicked off by our CEO & founder Davis Tan who shared the vision for our platform to “Build Services without Barriers”. He was then joined on stage by Mr. Stephen Liu, CEO of Ridpest; an industry stalwart in the pest control industry. Mr. Liu shared briefly about his past working relationship with our sister company Datum Clearmind and highlighted some important reasons why we need Maney.app as a platform.
Mr. Chris Leow, CMO of Maney then took the stage to share some key things our platform seeks to address in light of the gig economy being very much a part of everyday life in Malaysia. Maney aims to create an ecosystem that seeks to achieve the following:
